Watercolour. 10cm x 15cm. Back catalogue from Summer 2016. Every Friday I go to a watercolour art class. During a quiet moment at the end of the lesson I tried to copy a picture painted by (I think, it was a while ago!) Edward Seago who is a brilliant watercolour painter. He has quite a moody and atmospheric kind of style so I tried to have a go using a similar style. One of the more important things I’ve learnt about watercolour landscapes is the use of colour. When have you ever for instance seen a dark bluey-grey field? But it kind of works and that’s something I’m still getting my head around!
